It has fulfilled its responsibilities by taking constructive actions for social progress.
The message of “ No Nasha Nation” has been conceptualized by Padma Shri Dr Punam Suri Ji , President of Dav College Managing Committee . The campaign was carried out under the leadership of Shri Yogi Suri Ji, National President of Arya Yuva Samaj. It aims to combat substance abuse among youth and to educate and sensitize students , parents and the community about the dangers of substance abuse and promote a healthy , drug-free lifestyle.
DAVPublic School Sector 14 Faridabad has always been dedicated to inculcating moral and national values in its students . Under the leadership of Principal , Dr Anita Gautam , a 131 Kundiya Yajna was organized on 7 December 2025 in Central Park, Sector -14 , Faridabad. Through this Hawan , awareness against addiction was spread among the masses and Indian culture and values were also promoted . On this auspicious occasion , the Chief Guest was Shri Vipul Goel , Cabinet Minister , Haryana . The school Principal , Dr Anita Gautam , Manager Ms Abha Gangal , Sh. Navdeep Chawla , Vice Chairman , V.K Chopra , Director ,staff , students and parents and various other dignitaries were present to participate in the sacred ceremony .
The Chief Guest , Sh Vipul Goel , in his address said that DAV’s No Nasha campaign is a significant initiative to combat substance abuse among youth .
The campaign included various activities like nukkad natak, dance performances , awareness rallies ,inter- class competitions and cultural programs , door to door campaigns to spread the message of a drug free society.
The Arya Yuva Samaj of Dav Sec 14 Fbd plays a pivotal role in building a drug free nation by organizing 131 Kundiya Hawan which proved to be a successful endeavour. The No Nasha Nation campaign is a significant step towards creating a drug free India and DAV’s efforts in this direction are commendable .
