Future Thinking – Earth 2050

DAV Public School, Sector 14,Faridabad, successfully organised a thought-provoking Inter-House Competition  -FUTURE VOICES on the theme “Future Thinking: Earth 2050” on 4th August 2026. The event provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their ideas, strengthen their communication skills, and share innovative solutions for the future.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the School Manager, Ms. Abha Gangal, Principal Dr.Anita Gautam, Academic coordinator Mrs. Suman Arora, and the judges for the day, symbolising the triumph of knowledge and wisdom. Their inspiring presence set a positive and dignified tone for the event.

The students captivated the audience with insightful presentations on a variety of futuristic themes, including Smart Cities, Sustainable Living, Food and Agriculture, Transportation in 2050, Education: Classrooms Without Walls, Health and Medicine, and Space Exploration. Each presentation reflected extensive research, originality of thought, and a deep understanding of contemporary global challenges. The participants further enhanced their talks with creative and well-structured PowerPoint presentations, making the sessions both informative and engaging.

The event was judged by distinguished DAV alumni—Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi, CEO & Founder of UGreen Technology; Ms. Khushi Sharma, Senior DevRel Engineer at Cyberwave, Milan (Italy); and Dr. Ujjwal Shandilya, MBBS graduate from PGIMS, Rohtak. Drawing upon their professional expertise, the judges appreciated the students’ confidence, analytical thinking, effective communication, and stage presence. They also commended the relevance of the chosen topics, the quality of research, and the impactful use of PowerPoint presentations, while encouraging students to continue exploring innovative ideas and developing practical solutions for the future.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Anita Gautam congratulated all the participants and mentors for their dedication and hard work. She appreciated the depth of research and the excellent presentation skills displayed by the students. She encouraged them to remain curious, think critically, and continue striving for excellence in all their pursuits.

School Manager Ms. Abha Gangal lauded the students for their outstanding performances and commended them for bringing laurels to the school through their academic and co-curricular achievements. She appreciated the relentless efforts and commitment of the teachers in nurturing young minds and providing them with opportunities to excel. She encouraged everyone to continue working with the same passion and dedication to uphold the school’s tradition of excellence.

The Competition concluded on an inspiring note, leaving the audience enriched with fresh perspectives and reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing confident, creative, and future-ready learners equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
